[our Whole Crow wishes to flap about a bit in a paragraph in which they see themselves.]
on page 112 of this book by jane bennet whose histories are from 2000 and 10
– vibrant matter –
I see the human has underlined a sentence. It reads:
“…can sometimes unexpectedly bifurcate or choose developmental paths that could not have been foreseen, for they are governed by an emergent rather than a linear or deterministic causality.”
And to the side of this underlining, I believe the ‘margin’
(Marginalised matter, doesn’t matter anyway)
I see more words, written in human hand from a human tongue. They read:
“unexpectedness of Crow”
Human is likening me, my vibrancy, to the tiny biochemical social systems that are in constant flux with themselves and within their various microbiomes –
twitching and uncomfortably ill-as-ease with his own bristling and fluctuating identity, other-selves
To twitch, to blink, to flip a page; all is to see Crow changed again.
